The road in
You leave the interstate and take FM 306. The property is a cedar-cabin yard on that road, not a gated resort with a front desk lobby. Park at your cabin. Boat trailers fit in the yard when you bring one.
Reservations are by phone so the office can match each group to the right cabin. Call (830) 964-2638.
Boat Ramp #17
Walk or roll two blocks to the public ramp at Jacobs Creek Park. Comal County runs it. When the county has the ramp open, there is no launch fee. Drought, flood, and park work can close ramps. Check the county before you trailer a boat.
This is not a 24-hour guarantee. It is a short walk when the park is open.
On the water
Canyon Lake is the reason people stay here. Fish, ski, or sit on the bank. Cabins have all-new flooring and sound-insulating material between floors. The lake does the rest.
Guadalupe horseshoe and Whitewater
About four miles from the cabins you reach the river bend people call the horseshoe, plus Whitewater Amphitheater and the outfitters on that stretch. Tube days and concert nights fill the road. Plan extra time on those weekends.
How far from the cities
San Antonio is about 45 miles. Austin is about 55. That is a Hill Country drive, not a downtown hotel. Groceries and gas sit on FM 306 and the Canyon Lake commercial strip. Gruene, New Braunfels, and the river towns are the usual day runs.
